Author, former Functional Health Practitioner, and now Qualified Insurance Adviser – empowering clients across health and finance
Experience in functional health (10+ years running a naturopathic practice)
Author of U Don’t Seem Autistic
Life, Disability, and Health Insurance Expert at Real Savvy Financial Advice
Before moving into the financial services industry, I spent over 10 years running my own successful functional health practice, serving clients in person and virtually–worldwide, combining the knowledge of conventional medicine with a complementary-based approach.
My background includes a Doctorate in Integrative Medicine, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology, and I was fortunate to be featured as a natural health expert in national magazines, live radio and at corporate events.
Today, I bring that same level of care, detail, and client advocacy into my work at RSFA—helping clients navigate life, disability, and health insurance with clarity, understanding, and a medically-informed perspective.
Writing U Don’t Seem Autistic was a deeply personal journey for me. After being diagnosed with autism in midlife, I wanted to share my experiences to help others—especially women—who may not fit the traditional stereotypes.
This book is a reflection of my advocacy for gender equity in autism diagnosis and my belief that understanding neurological differences can empower individuals to thrive.
I’m proud to have created a resource that’s honest, practical, and hopeful. You can learn more about the book or purchase a copy through my dedicated website at the button below.
Today, I work as a Financial Adviser for Risk (Life, Disability & Health Insurance) and as part of the Operations Management team at Real Savvy Financial Advice (RSFA).
My role allows me to combine my background in holistic care with strategic financial advice—helping clients protect what matters most through tailored insurance solutions.
I take pride in simplifying complex policies, advocating for better outcomes, and ensuring that every client receives clear, personalised support.
My previous experience in healthcare continues to shape how I approach each client interaction—with attention to detail, empathy, and a focus on long-term wellbeing.
